70 Faces Media is a not-for-profit digital media company that aspires to connect as many people as possible to all sides of the unfolding Jewish story. The organization is the largest and most diverse Jewish media organization in North America with properties including Kveller, My Jewish Learning, Alma, The Nosher, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, and Jewniverse.
In the midst of planning out a major website rehaul, 70 Faces Media pulled in Whole Whale as its technical consultant. As part of this, Whole Whale worked to reconfigure the organization’s Google Analytics and build its AdWords Grant strategy to increase brand visibility and followers.

Over the course of 9 months between 2016 and 2017, Whole Whale worked closely with the 70 Faces team across several projects:
After researching tools and the organization’s needs, Whole Whale crafted a technical plan that would ensure sustainable growth. We also revisited their organizational chart and crafted a new plan for hiring and structuring the team.
Whole Whale updated and implemented new cross-domain tracking in Google Analytics to provide a better sense of how users flow between the various 70 Faces websites and marketing channels. After setup was complete, dashboards were created to give better visibility for and insight into the key performance indicators for the various publication teams.
Google AdWords Grant
Whole Whale worked with the 70 Faces marketing team to rebuild its AdWords Grant strategy. Our goals were to maximize the spend and net impact on all 70 Faces-branded sites. Once the strategy was implemented, we documented and trained the team on how to continue effectively managing the grant.
