As a Project Manager at Whole Whale, Kathleen has overseen a diverse portfolio of nonprofit and social impact clients, including Swing Left and World Animal Protection. She ensures projects are delivered with precision, care, and measurable results. Kathleen describes her project management style as being the “advocate for and expert on” her clients, a philosophy that has guided her through successful website transitions and innovative fundraising strategies. Her favorite projects focus on driving growth in fundraising outcomes, particularly recurring giving programs.
In addition to her client work, Kathleen serves as the Provost of Whole Whale University, where she empowers nonprofit professionals with the knowledge and tools to achieve their digital goals and maximize their impact.
Kathleen earned her B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology from East Carolina University and a Master’s in Public Administration and Policy from American University. She began her career working on federal and state campaigns before transitioning to newspaper and digital media marketing. When she’s not managing projects or mentoring teams, you’ll find her baking (while dancing to Taylor Swift), playing board games with friends, or planning her next Disney adventure.
